This download includes an engaging 20-slide PowerPoint that introduces students to a new event, civilization, or era by revealing pictures of artifacts, then hints, then answers. The last artifact also contains a video link to show even more details about the artifact. Check out the sample download to get an idea.

There are higher depth of knowledge (DOK) discussion prompts and higher order thinking questions also provided. This could take anywhere from 15-30 minutes depending on how you want to structure the guessing game and discussions. Enjoy!
